Buffalo Stars 'N Stirrups Saddle Club has been organized for horse enthusiasts in the Wright County area of west central Minnesota. Our club is for beginners and experienced horse lovers. We provide wholesome activities for the entire family. This club is a member of the Western Saddle Club Association (WSCA) .
Buffalo Stars 'N Stirrups Saddle Club meets as a group on the first Monday of each month February through November. At these meetings we discuss upcoming events, invite guest speakers, coordinate fundraising & volunteering events, and have a lot of fun! Some topics that may be covered at our meetings are how to buy & fit a saddle, how to select your first horse horse or pony, what is "good nutrition" for your horse, how to care for an injured, sick or elderly horse, etc. Guest speakers include local vets, farriers, trainers, barrel racers, and equine nutritionalists.
Buffalo Stars 'N Stirrups hosts several WSCA horse shows each summer. We offer both Pleasure and Game Shows. They are held at the Buffalo Championship Rodeo Grounds in Buffalo, MN. Everyone is invited!! Bring your horse and compete in many of the WSCA qualifying events, or just come to watch and cheer on your favorite horse and/or riders.
